Daylesford Cider is located approximately 4 Km east of Daylesford at 155 Dairyflat Road, Musk.
Take the main Trentham Road east from Daylesford, turn left 500 metres past the Daylesford cemetery on to Leitches Creek Road. At the top of the hill turn right. The Tavern is 1.5 Km along Dairyflat Road on the left. Access is entirely by sealed road.
Our current orchards consist of over 1000 apple trees comprising 18 traditional cider varieties. Our first orchard, comprising some 600 trees, is now certified by the BFA as fully organic.
Our second orchard, planted in 2009 is about to enter the certification process.
Our third, an possible final orchard, will consit of some 900 trees. The trees for this orchard will be grafted from this years prunings.
We hope to produce our first fully organic cider in 2012.
Daylesford Cider is set in an acre of luxuriant lawns and gardens and is an ideal setting for that wedding or special occasion.
Transport can also be provided from Daylesford to and from The Tavern for any group of 20 or more by Mildred, our resident Atlantean double decker bus for a minimal cost.
